Roseville police are investigating a Wednesday night incident in which a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and later died at a hospital.
Police spokeswoman Dee Dee Gunther said the pedestrian, Gary Paul Cravens, 52, of Roseville, walked in front of a van driven by Sacramento resident David Self, 31, shortly after 10 p.m. on eastbound Cirby Way near San Simeon Drive.
Cravens was taken by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center but did not survive his injuries, Gunther said.
