Lots of drug activity going on lately

After talking to some local neighbors, there is an increase in drug activity in our area. Roseville Police has been staking out several homes where teenages live who are dealing and using drugs. This might explain why the break ins to our homes and cars has been increasing. I won't name names yet or point out addresses, but the activity is going on near Kensington and Newport. Police and other neighbors have tried to talk to the parents of these individuals but they are in denial. Many parents think their little Johnnys and Suzy's can do no wrong so they don't enforce curfews or punishments. I've even seen one teen who has a suspended license for drugs and DUI continues to drive day and night.

I've also observed several teens and others in their early 20s walking around late at night, being loud, throwing bottles around, etc. This isn't something I've seen in this area in the past, normally people are driving in cars or riding their bikes. These people are suspicious and may be causing some of the issues. They certainly aren't part of our neighborhood.

Here is a crime that has been reported to the Police and I wanted to pass to our readers:

1200 block of Donahue Way, Roseville, grand theft. A $900 amplifier was stolen from a 1992 MasterCraft ProStar boat between 9:30 p.m. May 24 and 8:30 a.m. May 25.

As always, thanks for reading and keep my posted with anything you observe of learn about crime in our neighborhood.

Thanks.
